Make a 60 Second Video Review
We strongly encourage the use of a video review – these are a HUGE way to create engagement and we all know engagement leads to sales. The best ones are usually casual, direct and friendly.
If you want to make a quick screencast, you can use a great free tool called Jing or Screenr.
Tweet It
It goes without saying that Twitter is a killer platform for marketing something like The Secret List. If you’re using Bit.ly to shorten your URLs (strongly recommended), take note of which Tweets result in the highest clicks. Those are the ones to keep using.

Email It To Your List
If you have an existing list of e-mail subscribers or readers, you should consider a simple one-time email promotion. I’ve included an example below, but feel free to communicate the offer in whatever way you think your community will respond.
How should you communicate the offer?
We all enjoy emails that are exactly what they should be – emails. Not sales letters, not flashy graphics. A simple “hey man, check this out” is usually the best approach.
Basic Structure (Recommended)
- Start with an introduction
- Lead into a personal story (I struggled and wasted time finding cool spots when I traveled).
- Close, with clear, direct call-to-action (either direct link to The Secret List, or a written/video review)
- The key is to make it personable, actionable and focused on a pain or solution.
