Whether it’s “in” or “out” we always love the Delano. The perfectly temperate palm tree lined pool with underwater music is the perfect way to chill in the Miami heat. The newly redesigned rooms are minimalist without being bare and of course, everything is white. The hotel is lively, as the Rose Bar and the Florida Room are staples on the Miami nightlife scene. Bonus, they make best Mojitos in Miami!
The Shore Club

This hotel is the colorful sister of The Delano. Visitors and celebs come to the Shore Club for a party, pure and simple. It is the scene of many wild pool parties, champagne magnums and of course, the famed japanese restaurant Nobu. Sundays at the pool come complete with a DJ, beach balls, dancing girls and lots and lots of fruity drinks are consumed. Put your party pants on people it’s going to wild!

This residence/hotel is the new concept of The Morgan’s Group. It’s location on the bay puts you at a slight disadvantage as you are not able to easily walk to the main beach area. However, the view of the bay from the pool (or your room) certainly makes up for it! With The Sunset Lounge & Asia de Cuba, the Mondrian makes a solid choice if you’re looking for a hip hotel in Sobe.

It’s all about quiet luxury and relaxing at the Setai. The decor is asian inspired and the staff is very well trained. If you’re looking to escape for a few days this may be your spot. The design is simple and serene. At night, the lobby fills up and turns into one of the classiest spots in Miami to have a cocktail. The Setai isn’t typical South Beach, but it’s a welcome option for those who just want a peace and luxury.

Definitely a hot spot on the Miami hotel scene. It’s over the top decor (think sharks in the lobby aquarium) and roof top pool are typical South Beach. The pool is often visited by celebrities and athletes looking for a party although the crowd definitely leans younger. The pool bar is also a great place to come for a sunset cocktail.
