We get daily emails from peeps asking us how to get the ball rolling and BEGIN the process of getting in shape. The short answer is – take a few small steps. You would be totally surprised what you can create with just a few small steps.
Here’s the catch…
You have to know what the RIGHT small steps are!
Here are a few of my easy, breezy, no biggie steps to help you get going…
1. THE ‘WATER TRICK’
Humor me on something…if you don’t give your body any water what does your body try to do with the water it does have? Right! It holds on to it. The reverse is true too. If you give your body a bunch of water, it begins to release it. When it releases the water, guess what happens? The bloat starts to go down and you get leaner!
*Action Step – Increase your water intake everyday until you are up to 1 gallon of water daily. Do this for one full week then go to step 2.
2. THE ‘PLAY DRESS UP’ TRICK
Like to play dress up? Come on, I got your number. Like minds, baby! Like minds! Ok really….After you’ve accomplished the water trick for 7 full days move on to the next trick. I call it “costuming”.
*Action Step 2 – Place your workout outfit on your nightstand. When you wake up in the morning IMMEDIATELY put your workout clothes on. I mean, BEFORE your feet ever touch the floor. Trust me on this. Unless you are planning to go to work in your gym clothes you will get the necessary leverage on yourself to get to the gym. It works like a charm! I do this every single morning.
After doing this for 7 full days move on to the next step…..
3. THE SHAMELESS PLUG
If you did steps one and two you’ve completed the hardest part; which is working on your head!!! Now that you are in the routine of drinking water and getting to the gym we can go to the final step: find out exactly how to eat and train properly.
