Rob and I talk about the 90 day Jet Set Body transformation and getting the coveted “abs” all the time. But that’s not why we created this program. Jet Set Body Superstar Amy H is the reason that we created Jet Set Body. It’s stories like hers that motivate me to make this program better and better. Because her story is truly LIFE changing ~ not just about vanity and rocking a bikini on the beach. Not to mention, this girl makes no excuses, works a lot, travels often (even to Europe and actually stayed ON plan and came back lighter!). Her story is about truly making a lifestyle change for LIFE!

Here’s Amy’s story……
Six months before I started the program and before I even knew what Jet Set Body was, I was rushed to the hospital with a pulmonary embolism. When I heard that I had blood clots in my lungs in was a frightening situation and I spent nearly a week in the hospital. The worst part was yet to come as I had to spend the next two weeks giving myself shots in the stomach and the following six months going for weekly blood draws and taking blood thinners. I had to avoid eating a lot of leafy green vegetables and my energy levels plummeted. It turned out that my pulmonary embolism (PE) was a result of taking birth control. To top it all off I was told that I couldn’t take birth control ever again and my hormones went haywire. Something had to change, but I didn’t know where to begin. When I went to my next doctor’s visit she tried giving me medication to balance my hormones but I said “Thanks but no thanks”. I told her that there was something I wanted to try first and I started Jet Set Body the next day.
I had heard about the program from a friend and when I saw his results I was convinced I had nothing to lose. My boyfriend Chris also agreed to do the program with me and has been 100% supportive every step of the way. The support I have received from him, along with Rob and Kim, has been a huge part of my success. My 1st week in I lost 6 lbs and by the 2nd week my hormones were back on track naturally. I found that the nutrition plan wasn’t very different from the foods I normally ate, however the structure and balance of the foods are different and those changes have had quite an impact. Over the first 90 days I lost 28 lbs and 2 dress sizes and just by following the program along with me Chris lost 21 lbs.
When we first began it felt like quite the challenge but now we are a few weeks in to our 2nd 90 days it feels completely natural and I look at the program as more of a lifestyle. For me it had always been about health first and that is how I measure my progress (of course losing lbs is a bonus!!). I am now not only back to the weight I was before I got sick, I am back to the weight I was 5 years ago. It is pretty amazing to think about it that way, to drop 5 years worth of extra weight in 3 months!
To keep on track we have the program hung up on the fridge and only keep JSB foods in the house. When we go away for the weekend to visit friends or family we plan ahead by packing some of our essentials so we don’t make excuses while we are away. People have gotten used to us showing up with our own grocery bag!
It truly feels like the beginning of my JSB journey but I have no intentions of slowing down. There is nothing more motivating than a program that works. I have tried countless weight loss programs in the past and JSB just makes sense to me. There are no gimmicks and no easy solutions, but if you put in the work, you will see the results. I am looking forward to the next 90 days!
