What Makes J.K. Place Italy’s Top Hotel Brand?

The first time Rob and I experienced to the J.K. Place brand was in 2009 at J.K. Place Florence. Admittedly, we love Florence. It’s definitely one of our favorite cities in the world, so little could make us not love our vacation. Having stayed at a few other 5-star hotels in the city we had baseline of what to expect. However, from our first step across the monogrammed J.K. Place doormat, we knew this was going to be a whole new level of incredible. It’s obvious that the simple perfection for the J.K. Firenze begins with it’s incredible General Manager Claudio. He truly knows how to lead his staff and make you feel totally at home. The location couldn’t be better. The hotel is in the heart of Florence, but not in an overly touristed Piazza, so you don’t have to worry about noise or crowds near your hotel. Fun fact: J.K. Place Firenze was named Fodor’s Top 100 Hotels 2013

Following our first experience with J.K. Place Florence, we booked the J.K. Place Capri for our summer vacation. The first thing that struck us upon arrival was the view! Panoramic, royal blue waters and the marina below. We were blown away. We also fell in love with the  food and the decor, but mostly by their General Manager Samuel who easily memorized about a dozen changes to our dining schedule that my, ahem, slightly demanding husband made upon arrival. It was truly mind-blowing. It’s no wonder why J.K. Capri remains the top choice in Capri by international celebrities, designers and athletes alike.

Now, as the holiday approaches, we are slated to visit the newly opened J.K. Roma. We are beyond thrilled to be spending the New Year with, what now feels like our Italian family. Of course we can’t 100% vouch for the Roma hotel yet, but knowing the brand, we don’t anticipate anything but pure perfection!

So, what makes J.K. Place so incredible and unique? Simple. The staff’s anticipation of your every need and desire. The feeling like you rented a full-service villa, and are not staying in a hotel. The ease of finding a secluded nook to hide, sip a glass of Italian Chianti and dive into a new novel. Which, by the way, is remarkably easy to do at any of their properties. Also, the consistency of service from staff member to staff member, and property to property, it is nothing we’ve ever experienced. Everyone, and I mean everyone, is well trained, friendly and eager to help you make their hotel your home.
